CHI St. Joseph’s Health Hospice Care has received a $1,500 donation from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Minnesota, Park Rapids Chapter No. 38, to directly support hospice care for local veterans.
“We are incredibly grateful to the DAV for their support,” said Kayse Sherva, Hospice Care Social Worker at CHI St. Joseph’s Health. “This donation will help us provide compassionate and dignified hospice care to our veteran patients, recognizing their unique experiences and needs.”
Dawn Batcho, Commander DAV Chapter 38 Park Rapids, added, “The DAV is committed to supporting organizations that serve our veterans. We’re proud to partner with CHI St. 1
Joseph’s Health Hospice Care to ensure veterans in our community receive the compassionate care they deserve.”
The funds will be used to enhance the comfort and care provided to veterans and their families during end-of-life care. CHI St. Joseph’s Health Hospice Care is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of veterans through respectful and personalized care.
