Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance

Our 12-week program (2x/week, 1 hour sessions) uses Tai Ji Quan-based warm-ups, core practice, and cool-down breathing exercises. Research shows it’s more effective at reducing falls in older adults than conventional exercise. All movements are adaptable: Perform seated, standing, or chair-assisted.

When: Mondays and Thursdays, starting February 9th
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Where: CHI St. Joseph’s Health, Lower Level Conference Room A
Cost: Free, however, a $30 free-will donation is accepted.

Online Raffle forms must be received with payment by March 12th. Tickets will still be available in-person until the drawing on March 16th at CHI St. Joseph’s Health Auxiliary Purse Bingo. Need not be present to win.

Join us for Designer Purse Bingo on Monday, March 16, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM (doors open 5:00 PM) at the American Legion, 900 1st Street East, Park Rapids, MN 56470.

This Auxiliary Event, benefiting CHI St. Joseph’s Health, features 5 rounds of bingo plus one blackout round for $40 per packet, with winners receiving a designer purse.

Pre-order a meal for an additional $12 with your reservation. You can also purchase tickets for the “Baskets of Love” Raffle at the event. Walk-ins are not permitted; reservations are required due to limited seating.
