I graduated from Manchester University (IN) for my undergraduate degree and Indiana University for my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I live in Park Rapids and I am married with one big dog. My interests outside of work are on par with many Minnesotans and are seasonal. In the winter I enjoy snowmobiling, curling, and am a MHSL basketball official. Springtime brings maple syrup season. The summer I am happiest on the water: fishing, water sports, or just cruising. I also enjoy biking, hiking, and traveling. My fall hobbies are watching football and hanging onto the activities of summer as long a possible.
What can patients expect with me as their therapist?
I strive to meet each patients’ individual goals at a speed that is most comfortable to them. In general, I consider myself an aggressive therapist and I care deeply about each patient’s outcomes. My treatments use a variety of techniques, but I stress active therapies and use passive treatments less often. My therapeutic decisions are made by evidence based in research in conjunction with patient input and preference. I am a Graston Technique M1 provider and utilize McKenzie Technique in lumbar pathologies. Whether I meet you in the clinic or the hospital, I hope to make a positive impact on your life.
