With more than 12 years of experience in general and bariatric surgery, Dr. Gilmore has professional interests in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, as well as weight loss surgery and foregut surgeries such as hiatal hernia, reflux, paraesophageal hernia and stomach. She is excited about the opportunity to build a strong team at CHI St. Joseph’s Health that is able to provide well-rounded care for patients. She has always felt that high quality medical care should be accessible no matter where you live, which is why she has always loved working with patients in smaller communities.
Personal Interest
Dr. Gilmore and her family moved to Menahga from Mankato. They are all very excited about moving up north where they hope to be able to enjoy more time together. Her family includes five kids and one grandchild. Her two oldest kids are grown and out of the house while the youngest three are at home and have enjoyed getting to meet new friends at school. Dr. Gilmore really enjoys doing projects around their house and feels like she is always either building something or tearing something down!
