Dr. Scott Maanum is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 14 years of experience. He has local ties to the community as a graduate of Park Rapids High School, and as a physician in the Emergency Department at CHI St. Joseph’s Health in 2011. Dr. Maanum is excited to return to primary care and looks forward to building strong relationships with his patients.

Personal Interests
When not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with family, friends and his 12-year old German Shorthaired Pointer. Like many others in the area, he appreciates the opportunities to fish and hunt, hike and camp, and be on the water. Dr. Maanum has a passion for sports and has been an assistant varsity boys’ and girls’ tennis coach. He still strings tennis rackets in his spare time. He enjoys riding his road bike and going downhill skiing. He also likes woodworking and basic construction projects. He is working on becoming a private pilot and is enamored by the freedom and thrill of flying and travel. He lives life with purpose and gratitude and is guided by his Christian faith.
